Chanalai Hillside Resort, Karon Beach

The place was super enjoyable. The amenities were great and the place was super pretty.

The welcome and check in were really nice. The beds were comfortable and the shower was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. In 3 days, the room was cleaned twice, which was nice. The location is good, a quick 10 minute walk to the beach and even closer for good restaurants and laundry services.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff were always upbeat and always made you feel welcome. Front desk always greeted you with a smile and kindness. Betty always made me feel special and always answered any questions I had. I enjoyed the lower pool area,but unfortunately the parents of the babies didn't always have them in diapers for hygiene of the other guests.

Big hotel with spacious room, big bed and bathroom. There are two swimming pools, a big central one on the ground floor and a smaller (but still big) one on The rooftop. There's plenty of restaurants around the hotel, as well as a mini-mart across the street and massage parlors. The location was nice, as it was far from the central Phuket chaos which was a bit too much for our taste. Staff is so kind, friendly, and always ready to help. The breakfast is good with lots of Thai and Western options at a very good price.

Good location to Karon beach (but this beach has sea lice in the ocean). Room is really nice, cozy and comfortable. We booked one night then ended up staying 3 extra nights after that - all of which were wonderful. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating to the best of their ability. They require your key card to be put in for electricity so the AC turns off when you leave. However it is very well insulated and the AC units are awesome so it really didn’t bother us. We didn’t use the pools, restaurant or bar so can’t comment there.
